Topic of the Essay
Topic will be published here once the essay submission opens.
Wording
The essay must be written in a maximum of 500 words.
The counting of words should also include the article and the prepositions.
Do not separate the paragraphs with titles like "Introduction"/ "Conclusion".
Separate different parts of the essay with paragraphs only.
Essay Formulation
Participant MUST write the essay without external help from anyone.
Participant will have three (03) months to formulate ideas and write the essay.
Submitting the essay as early as possible is encouraged but not mandatory.
All essay submissions during the allocated time period will have the same priority.
Writing
The essay MUST be written by hand on one-sided A4 size white un-ruled paper.
If required, more than one (01) one-sided un-ruled white A4 size paper can be used.
But remember, only 02 files can be uploaded. In that case, We recommend uploading a scanned 'pdf'.
Identity
Participant should write his/her full name at the top right corner of each page. (Optional)
Participant Write the registration number on the top left corner of each page. (Mandatory)
Upload
Each participant can upload only 02 files in allowed formats.
To upload the handwritten essay, you can take photographs of the pages or scan them and then upload them.
If you are uploading photographs of the handwritten essay, please make sure the images are clear and fully readable.
Unreadable 'image' or 'pdf' will not be accepted for scholarship consideration.
If you are uploading a scanned 'pdf' of the handwritten essay please make sure that a pdf reader like application 'Adobe Pdf Reader' can open the file.
'PDF' or 'Image', In both cases, the maximum allowed total file size is five (05) Megabytes.
A mixture of file formats is not allowed. You can not upload one '.jpg' and one '.pdf'.
We strongly RECOMMEND uploading ONE (01) single scanned 'pdf' file, size under five (05) Megabytes (MB).
Essay Grading Criteria
'50%' on creative thinking and writing
'20%' on English grammar
'15%' on English Vocabulary
'10%' on Progressiveness of the essay storyline
'05%' on look and feel
Warning
One of the reasons we asked participants to write the essay in white un-ruled A4 paper is that We will be analyzing all uploaded essays through state-of-the-art AI (Artificial Intelligence) driven OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology to detect plagiarism.
