Azmal Hoque

(1962 - 2010)

Azmal Hoque was born in 1962 in Gaffargaon to Samir Uddin Sarkar and Ambia Khatun. He grew up under the supervision of his parents. From his early days, he was kind and empathetic to others. His father was a successful businessman and his mother was a housewife. As soon as he was able, he also followed in his father's footsteps and became a businessman. His whole life he was very precise and proactive about the needs of his family as well as others. He was loved by his friends and respected by the community.

Although he devoted his whole life to business, he was always in favor of education. He strongly believed in the idea that education can give a better life. So he did everything in his power to enable good education for his children and as well as he encouraged others about it. No matter the context, time, or situation he never backed down on quality education for children. Even in tough financial conditions, he put education on the top of the list for his children. He always supported constructive changes to make sure the children get better education.

No matter how vibrant life is, everything comes to an end. He was misdiagnosed with 'Cancer' in early 2008 and by the time a correct diagnosis have been compiled, it was too late to save his life. Even when he knew, his days were numbered, he never lost hope in his family and himself. He was a man of strong morality and integrity. He has fought hard and long to win the battle against 'Cancer' but with Almighty's will, he died on 19th February 2010. Leaving his legacy of kindness, morality, and integrity behind for his beloved family to carry it forward.
